PB Tankers is a company that owns and operates a fleet of medium range (MR) tankers, built and managed according to the highest standards of quality, reliability and safety.
The Panama Canal is an artificial channel that connects North and South America, dividing the Atlantic Ocean from the Pacific Ocean. A strip of land measuring 81.1 km on which about 14,000 ships pass through each year.
The canal is regulated by a system of locks and water chambers, through which ships rise to about 100 meters above sea level.
Traveling the Panama Canal takes from 8 to 12 hours, the system of locks is complex and time consuming.
